Love you all, praying for you,
I just love God’s Word. It’s written right there on the page! And when the Holy Spirit prompts you, when He reveals things in your spirit that you write down, like the S.O.A.P. Observation section of your PRISM time with Him today… It’s His Word to you – written right there on the page! Sometimes He gives wisdom to those who aren’t even seeking him. They stumble across truth, because all truth is God’s truth, and the rain falls on the just and the unjust. Sometimes God can bring truth to people who aren’t even seeking Him. Like this quote… “Familiarity breeds contempt.” There’s some truth in those words. Sometimes we can get so used to something, we take it for granted, like God’s Word. How many times have you read something, and said out loud or in your spirit – “Oooh, that’s good!” I’m sure it’s happened to you before, maybe more than once. But then what? What did you do? Did you do it? If it is something you could stop and do right now… did you ask God… “Are you saying that to me right now? Do you want me to stop what I’m doing and do that right now?” Then the moment of truth is upon you. Will you do it, or will you not? This can happen in just fractions or seconds. Do you stop and obey, or just keep going to the next… “Oooh, that’s good!” Like when God says… When you come to worship me (or spend time with me) and you remember that your brother has something against you… (You may have wronged your brother in some way, or not treated him the way you should have…) Go make it right with your brother first, and then come back and worship me.” “Oooh, that’s good!” So… is God just saying that? Or really saying that? Will you just read it, or will you ask Him, and if He confirms it… will you set down your offering right there at the altar, turn around and leave, actually go do it, and then come back and finish your time in God’s presence? It’s actually pretty easy to become familiar with hearing, and never get around to doing. If you read and hear in your spirit something specific or something new, or something you hadn’t thought about in a while that God brings to your attention… Ask Him, “Is that for me right now? When do you want me to do it? He may say, stop what you’re doing and do it right now. Or He might say, Leave the office during your lunch hour and go get this done… Psalm 32:11 – Rejoice in the LORD and be glad you righteous, sing all you who are upright in heart. “Oooh, that’s good!” But will you do it? Did God say that just to say that? Or did He say it so you will do it? Will you ask Him if this is Him speaking to you? And when to do it? And then will you follow through? If you are righteous, you will. If you are upright in heart you will. Or at least that’s what it says… “Well that’s not really my personality…” (I didn’t see any disclaimer included). “But I don’t sing very well.” (That wasn’t mentioned as a requirement… it doesn’t stop you in the shower.) You can easily go to YouTube today and get a live worship set. You can even turn up the volume so no one hears your voice sing; The atmosphere you choose can help you obey what God said. Whether worship that will draw out your rejoicing, or your Daily Call that will draw out that Testimony you overcome with. Praying that you will never grow so familiar with Scripture that you ignore it. Praying that in your PRISM time, or anytime you hear Him speak, that you will ask Him, “God, do you want me to do this? Right now? Then when? If you ask Him, He will tell you, and every time you do it, you will not escape the blessing that goes with it. Praying that today you will rejoice, and be glad, and sing – the moment God tells you. That you will do it today. “LORD, I will sing, I will rejoice, and I will be glad in you!” Just go to “Awake My Soul” by Hillsong on YouTube – and sing to Him, what you will do. It doesn’t even matter what melody you use. He loves to hear it. Worship will draw you into the joy and gladness and song that He has for you! Praying that you will take that time in His Presence today. He’s waiting for you there, and has things that He wants to give you. Love you all, dad

Love you all, praying for you,
I just love God’s Word. It’s truth, and life, and good, and hope! It’s face-value and context. Under what conditions? What needs to happen for this to happen? Psalms 32:8 – I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go. I will counsel you and watch over you. What if the Almighty, the All-knowing and All-Loving God – instructed you in the way He has individually designed for you? What if He taught you so you learned by experience the specific way that He has planned for you, the way chosen for you because He loves you that much? What if you had His counsel for everything you do, the wisdom of the ages and all of eternity – telling you how to succeed, in the custom-designed life – the Master Creator has purposed for you? What if you had His watchful eye over you, guarding your every step, watching over His Word to you – to perform it? How does this happen? The context will tell you. Verse 5 – When you acknowledge your sin, and don’t cover up your iniquity, when you confess your transgressions and He forgives you. When you pray to Him while He may be found, when you make Him your hiding place (the refuge you run to first). Then… He will instruct you and teach you in the way chosen for you. You’ll get His counsel and He will watch over you, your comings and your goings. Then you will walk in His ways, and He will fulfill His purpose for you. And when the mighty waters rise they will not reach you, He will protect you from trouble and surround you with songs of deliverance. Praying that you will acknowledge and confess, that you will make time with Him, your Number One Priority, that PRISM will give you His mind, that PiVAT will give you His plans – that your Daily Call will sharpen you – the way He has commanded for you to overcome. Praying that you will be faithful today in every way – that His joy will be your strength, that His plans will be your actions, that His purpose will be your practice, that you will know the joy of living the life He has planned for you! There is nothing else that will satisfy you – and there is nothing you could ever dream or imagine that is better that what He has already planned for you! He’s just waiting for you to run with Him! Love you all, dad Love you all, praying for you,
I just love God’s Word. It is not only truth and light and life, wisdom and instruction – it tells stories. One of them… about the greatest comeback ever. A few years ago – in Superbowl LI Tom Brady and the mighty New England Patriots are down 14-0 nearing the end of the first half. Then Tom Brady throws an interception for an 82-yard touchdown run - for the other team! His feeble attempt to tackle the thief, only resulted in a mouthful of turf, watching a Super Bowl slip away on his own error. What happened to the greatest quarterback ever? The doubters and haters already starting to chirp… But it gets worse, in the second half – they go down 28-3. The route has begun and it’s over! Total embarrassment. But then something happened. The leader was talking, he wasn’t talking trash, he was talking faith. “Just do your job!” “Trust the process.” And one stop became one score. And by the end of the fourth quarter with seconds left in the game. Tom Brady and the New England Patriots just did the unthinkable, the unimaginable. The greatest comeback in Super Bowl History – perhaps in all of sport. There was another time, Lebron James was down 3-1 in the NBA Finals, not playing for the Boston Celtics or the Los Angeles Lakers, but the Cleveland Cavaliers. It might have been possible… but nobody had ever done it before, in NBA History – no one has ever comeback from a 3-1 deficit. The story was over – until the story ended, with the Cavaliers doing the impossible, what had never been done before. Comebacks - make for incredible stories. But there is only one greatest comeback ever, and it’s not even close. The Savior of the World, The Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world, crucified on a Roman Cross, declining to call a legion of angels to utterly destroy his human enemies… willingly did the will of His Father in Heaven, so we might be free, of sin, death, and the grave, and an eternity separate from God. Jesus went into hell, took the keys, and led captives out with him. This is the greatest comeback ever, from death to life. It forever changed human history and all of eternity. The ones disqualified to ever live in Heaven with a Holy God, just became holy by the blood of Jesus Christ shed for them. Jesus himself, taking their sentence, transformed every one who will believe, into holy in God’s sight - citizens of heaven for all of eternity. This is a comeback possible only through God. Winning a game is something. But going from death to life, that is another. A game is not reality, you can always play another game, you can always come back next year, but when you die, it’s over. He’s the God of the comeback. And if He can do that, there is nothing in your life, He cannot do. His grace is more than enough for what you need. So what in your life needs a comeback? Is there an area of your life, that is not what God designed you for, not what God told you to do, not the victory He has for you? Are you losing in an area God created you to win? Are you bound by something, that God died to set you free from? Are you failing where God has called you to succeed? He’s the God of the turnaround. Just do your job. Trust the Process. He will do His. He will forgive you. Whether a willful sin, or harmful habit, whether choice or neglect, lack of understanding or lack of diligence, whether something you used to do but have failed to continue, or something you’ve never done before - God is the source of all comebacks. He is the Ultimate Power, and He has victory in store for you – He knows no other. What is Step One? Vision. God what have you called me to be - that I’m not walking in right now? What area in my life do you want to change forever, from defeat to victory? Step Two. Get A Stop – Stop doing that thing, or those things that keep you going in this wrong direction – change needed, you need a stop! Ask God what to stop, and stop! Step Three – Get a First Down, just get a bucket. Get one score, and God will take it from there. It might be a new action, or a new habit, but it will start with one step. Ask Him what it is, and do it. Right now! You just start… He’ll give you grace to do it. He’s the starter, because He’s the Creator, but He’s also the greatest finisher in all of human and non-human history. God has a comeback for you. God has a next thing for you, God has victory for you, and God has a life of victory for you. Praying that the God of all comebacks, is your quarterback. Your coach, and your lead blocker. Praying that you will believe what He says, without it, you will never come back. It doesn’t matter what others say. What does God say, what did God tell you to stop, and what did God tell you to do? Just do it! If you listened to this Daily Huddle, your comeback has already begun. He’s the one who started it, and He will surely finish. He’s the finisher, the Alpha and Omega, the One with all Power and all Authority, who loves you forever. He will fulfill His purpose for you. You just need to believe it, and do that first stop, and take that first step. He’ll give you His grace for the rest. Love you all, dad Love you all, praying for you,
I just love God’s Word. It is truth and life and seed. Proverbs 14:4 – Where there are no oxen the manger is empty, but from the strength of an ox comes an abundant harvest. The ox doesn’t produce the harvest, but in order to see it, strength is needed. Not oxen to tread grain, oxen to plow fields, to plant seed. Without seed there is no harvest, and it takes strength to plant seed, to turn over the hardened ground. Doesn’t seem to do much… but you don’t go by what it looks like at planting time. If you plant the seed, you will see the harvest. The seed is to read and believe, to ask and speak, and then keep reading, and believing, and asking and speaking. There are only two words that matter. God’s Word, and your word. God’s Word doesn’t matter if your word doesn’t agree. Because if your word is different than God’s Word, your word is the word you believe. That’s why it’s so important to plant life, and plant faith today. You do it with your words. What are you planting? You need oxen. You’ve heard the term ‘dumb as an ox,’ but the ox doesn’t need to be smart, he just needs strength to do what his master wants him to do. You don’t need brains for harvest, you need faith. Sometimes brains get in the way of faith, they can uproot the seed before it’s planted, while it’s planted, or after it’s planted. God’s Word doesn’t always make sense to your brain, because His ways are higher than our ways as high as the heavens are above the earth. God’s Word can only be understood and accepted by your spirit, not your brain. It’s that way that seems right verses His Way that is right. Everything you say is a seed. Every time you speak, you are planting. Every seed you plant will bring a harvest of one kind or another. And every time you are in His Word – you are getting good seed. Praying that your PRISM time is a priority today, so you plant the right seed – the seed that will bring a good harvest. Just keep coming back to it, God will give you the strength to do it. Every time you do, your desire for it will grow, and then God will give you the strength to plant and keep planting. Praying that you will plant today with the strength God gives you - that you will read and believe and ask and speak. Love you all, dad Love you all, praying for you,
Hope you have a wonderful Valentines Day. If you have a significant other – a husband or wife, or a fiancé or someone you expect might be - Valentines Day is a great day to show them how much they mean to you. But have you noticed how much Valentine’s Day is like Christmas – we give everyone else presents – instead of the One whose birthday it is? (Imagine if everyone else got presents on your birthday instead of you). The same way on Valentine’s Day – we give gifts and spend time with the ‘love of our life’ but do we remember the One who loves us like no other? God loves you. Far more than any person you know – far greater even than your spouse of fifty or sixty years. First, God planned you, He formed you and designed you. He spent some time on it, He not only created you with all kinds of gifts and abilities, attributes and features, He made plans for your good beyond your imagination. He breathed life into you, He thinks about you all the time, He rejoices in your success, He is there for you in your darkest hour. He comforts you and helps you, He leads you and guides you. He knows you through and through, completely, your every thought – even the bad ones, the sad ones, and embarrassing ones. He knows how rotten you can be, and He loves you anyway, completely. He never leaves you nor forsakes you, He’s never too busy, uninterested, or uninvolved. He listens every time you speak! He doesn’t interrupt He doesn’t cut you off, He doesn’t misunderstand, or take things the wrong way, He doesn’t ignore you, or make you feel like you are not important, or as important as someone else or something else. He has never let you down, He never will let you down. He longs for you, He’s jealous for you, He gave his life for you, took your sin on Him, so you could have His grace on you. And He still lays down His life for you every day, He’s interceding for you right now! This is not the love of a man and a woman – this is a greater love – a love like no other. The love of God – Your Heavenly Father, your Savior, your lover, your best friend, your never-leaving companion – the One who created you and sustains your every breath, who fulfills your dreams and your purpose, and gives you eternal joy in His presence, who is preparing a place for you in Heaven; where no sin, or disappointment, no lack, no darkness, not even a tear will exist. A love you can’t even understand – that He always shows you. That kind of love should have a Valentines Day all of it’s own. But until that happens – and as you give flowers and chocolates to the one you love down here… Praying that you will remember the One who loves you greater, the One who died for you, who made you, has plans for you and loves you forever. Praying that you will tell Him, how much you love Him, and give Him some time today. Just to thank Him, and remember - how much He loves you. Love you all, dad Love you all, praying for you,
I just love God’s Word – the Logos of Scripture, but I also love His Word to men of today. In God’s grace and inspiration – God speaks today, as in every generation, He inspires the hearts of men – and puts His Word on their pen. America, America, God shed His grace on thee, and crown thy good with brotherhood from sea to shining sea. These words, I believe, given by God, capture the heart of God for this nation. The land that I love, stand beside her and guide her through the night with Your light from above. If there is one thing missing in today’s America – it is righteousness, which explains why there is no brotherhood. This nation was founded upon a faith in God, the providence of the Almighty, His laws and His decrees - the only words which can preserve freedom and fairness, and liberty for all people for the next generation. These laws – as long as they remain righteous laws – preserve freedom because the law of God and the Liberty He has given – are the unalienable rights which supersede the laws of men. God shed His grace on thee. It is only the grace of God by which we are saved, and by which this nation is saved. And crown thy good with brotherhood. Brotherhood is unity, without which, no nation can stand. It is a crown which can only be given to good – the righteousness of a nation. And any nation that forsakes righteousness, forsakes good, and forfeits the crown of brotherhood, granted only by God. God will never grant unity where there is not good. He will never grant unity between the righteous and the wicked over evil. Unity is only granted as the crown upon good. America will only be saved by God’s grace – but America Will Be Saved. The covenant of the United States Constitution, and the Bill of Rights was for good - for a nation to be good and do good, not to lie, steal, cheat or oppress. Without God there is no good, He crowns good with unity, and any who seek unity apart from what God has declared to be good, will never see good, nor brotherhood. Unity comes from God, and He does not grant unity between the righteous and those who pursue evil. We need God’s grace to repent and turn from evil in this nation. And it starts with God’s people. So He can crown good with brotherhood, unity upon the good that arises from His Word. The US Constitution and Bill of Rights enable choices, but protect and promote righteousness, so God can bless this nation and the people in it with freedom to live according to the blessing of His Word. This is the only way we can remain a free people. But also, the only way we can fulfill the purpose for which this nation was created - to spread the good news of Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the Kingdom of God to all the nations of the world. America, America, God mend thy every flaw, confirm thy soul in self-control, thy liberty in law. May the LORD of heaven and earth who established America to be a beacon to the world, turn the hearts of it’s people to follow Him, to repent and turn from our wicked ways, so His grace can bring the unity He crowns over good. Liberty comes from the LORD, not men – Just as the blood of Jesus purchased our freedom, and as the blood of those who gave their lives for this country has preserved it’s freedom, we will only remain free, if we return to what is good – what God says is good, not joining with those who call evil, good, and good evil. So what has God called you to do – to fight for this nation? Our weapons are not carnal, but mighty through God for the pulling down of strongholds. Where are the George Washington’s of today, the Abraham Lincoln’s of today? We face the greatest danger we have ever faced – a nation can be conquered from without, or it can erode from within. We know the devils plan, to steal, kill and destroy. But God’s plan is to give life. Praying that you will join a remnant in repentance and prayer for this nation, that what God said He will do, will soon be seen – America Will Be Saved – we still have a purpose to fulfill. Love you all, dad Love you all, praying for you,
I just love God’s Word. It is truth, and it pulls no punches. But it doesn’t just convict you, it tells you how to be free! Psalms 31:1 – In you, O LORD, I have taken refuge; let me never be put to shame: deliver me in your righteousness. Turn your ear to me, come quickly to my rescue be my rock of refuge a strong fortress to save me. Since you are my rock and my fortress for the sake of Your Name lead me and guide me. Free me from the trap that is set for me, for You are my refuge. Into Your hands, I commit my spirit, redeem me O LORD, the God of truth. This verse is about taking refuge in God, and He will protect you from those who are trying to harm you. But this verse is even more about taking refuge in God – so He will protect you from the trap of sin. Take refuge, so you don’t sin. What could put you to shame? Only sin. Obeying God, standing for righteousness, no matter what loss or persecution you might face, that doesn’t put you to shame, only sin. That’s what can really harm you, only that - can put you to shame. Obeying what He told you, even it if costs you money, or cancels you – that doesn’t put you to shame. Not cheating even if someone cheats you, that doesn’t put you to shame. Standing for God’s truth even when you are persecuted for it, that doesn’t put you to shame, only sin does that. Deliver me in your righteous. Deliver me from sin, help me be righteous like You. Come quickly to my rescue, so I do not fall into sin. Be my rock of refuge against the onslaught of temptation. For the sake of Your Name save me from being put to shame. Because of Your Holiness, and Your reputation, because of what Jesus did on the cross, for the sake of Your Name lead me and guide me. Lead me away from sin and temptation, and guide me in Your path for me – Your will for me to do, far from the path of sin and temptation. Instead, lead me to Your good, and Your favor. Free me from the trap set for me. Enemies set traps to harm you, your true enemy.. (any others just do his bidding) but your true enemy sets the only trap that can truly harm you, the trap of sin, which separates you from God. Free me from the trap set for me, the devil’s schemes to trip me up so I am put to shame, for You are my refuge. I’m asking you right now for the next time… I commit my spirit to you, so my flesh doesn’t control me. Help me, O LORD, walk in the Spirit so I will not fulfill the lusts of the desires of the flesh. I commit my spirit to you. So what traps could you fall in? What sins could beset you so easily. Don’t focus on the sin, but be watchful. (Know where you could fall, and don’t go there!) and be prayerful – that’s taking refuge in Him. What are these sins that you could fall into, that would have you fall short of His best, if you do not remain watchful, vigilant against them? For everyone the order may be different, but these might be my top eleven. #1 Not obeying - at 5pm - PiVAT before dinner. Without knowing what His plans are for me for tomorrow, I will be on my own plan and miss His… I won’t be reminded what He told me to do today so I finish strong and finish completely, and I’ll miss the opportunity to write down my testimony – so I can overcome with it, again and again. Not obeying at 10pm when it’s time for bed, or 6 am when it’s time to get up – or whatever timeframes God has your life on right now… #2 Distraction – TV, Internet, News Cycle, Social Media, Netflix – anything that would distract you from what God told you to do in this hour, in this ‘15 minutes,’ when those are for another time, not right now… #3 Talking, not listening. Not hearing someone out, not seeking to understand them, or giving them the time to talk – whether my wife, or children or another person. #4 A short or harsh answer, not kindness or patience, the fruit of the Spirit, but giving way to impatience, irritation or anger – an unguarded tongue. #5 Doubt, fear, or fret – when I should choose Faith, Praise and His Presence. #6 Critical Spirit – Comparing, a prideful thought, which can lead to accusation, slander, or gossip. #7 Lust or Greed – Not ‘setting my eyes on no unclean thing’ or looking at things I don’t have and wanting them, which could become coveting. #8 Grumbling and Complaining when I should be Thanking and Praising. #9 Saying nothing, not taking a stand for truth and justice and righteousness, not standing for those who cannot stand for themselves. #10 Unforgiveness – of those who wronged me, when God has forgiven me of way more… #11 Not Choosing Him First – loving the world more than loving Him. Choosing the things of the world over His presence, His Word, and conversation with Him. Praying that you will take refuge, so you won’t sin, that God will come quickly to your rescue, redeem you and save you from the only thing that can put you to shame – sin. And instead that He would lead you in His truth on paths to His Good. If you take refuge in Him, He will do it for the sake of His Name – He will free you from every trap set for you! Love you all, dad Love you all, praying for you,
I just love God’s Word. It tells you what really happened. It doesn’t hide things, or cover some things over to make certain people look better. It is the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. Matthew 28:16 – Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus told them to go. When they saw Him, they worshipped Him, but some doubted. Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Shocking. At least they obeyed, they did what He told them to do, that’s why they saw him. If they didn’t obey, they would never have seen Him. That’s what happens when you obey – you see things that no one would believe. It’s where your testimony comes from – your obedience. So you want a bigger testimony? You want a bigger victory? then get a bigger obedience. They obeyed, and they saw him. And they worshipped. Of course, what else could you do? But some doubted? Wow. After all this? Some doubted? Talk about a week of highs and lows… Just one week ago they were entering Jerusalem as celebrities - to the roar of the adoring crowd. How quickly things can turn, from the overturned tables, to the upper room and the garden of Gethsemene, to Judas betrayal and the horrific, unjust execution of an innocent man, the One they loved. And now to see Him alive again? They saw Him die, they saw him buried, and now He is risen from the dead? What joy they must have felt! And yet some of them still doubted? Doubted what? Doubt and unbelief, lacking faith even when you even see it with your own eyes. So faith isn’t what you see. Some people see it with their own two eyes, and still don’t believe… So faith doesn’t depend on what you see, even that won’t give you faith. Faith is revealed by what you believe, and God has given you the measure of faith you need. Will you use it? Or forsake it? You cannot please God without using your faith. You will always be required to live by faith, even when you see it happen, no matter what you see, even again and again. Because even after the promise comes to pass, the devil will always try to give you another explanation of why that happened, as if it wasn’t really a miracle. When God comes through again, and He will, there will still be another opportunity for faith – to please Him. So what did God say? And what will you believe? Shrinking back – is when you stop believing. It’s when you allow doubt to creep in, when you begin to say something different, or start using words that hedge your bets. Don’t do it. It’s not what you see that counts – it’s what you believe. If He said it, - you will see it! And when you see it, will you believe? If you don’t believe now, why would you believe then? Just because you see another thing He promised come to pass? You have already have seen these things time and time again. The disciples had an eye witness view – but we have all the evidence they had and more! We have the gospels, the Epistles, Revelation, and all of the other 66 books! What has He said? And will you believe Him? Praying that you will stand in faith, not sight. That every word you speak is the word of faith, that you would banish any doubt and unbelief. That you would praise Him like it’s happened, like you will praise Him when it happens. Faith is not naïve, nor a disconnect from reality. Faith is evidence, as sure as seeing it. It is a connection to eternal reality – what God said - far more real than the temporary life you see. God has given you the faith you need. Feed it, use it, grow it, hold onto it – it will please Him, His Word is enough – it will establish you. You will stand firm, not tossed like the wind. You will see again what The LORD will do for those whose hearts are fully devoted to Him. Love you all, dad Love you all, praying for you,
I just love God’s Word. Simple, direct, face-value truth with additional deeper meaning. It will make the simple wise, the gullible discerning, the weak strong, and the feeble firm. It’s eternal wisdom, it reveals the ancient paths, what works and what doesn’t, what will bring true and lasting success. It gives the wisdom of the ages, and God’s plans for you in this moment. It confirms what He speaks in your spirit, it gives you truth you can act on, a path you can travel on, and promises that you can count on. I love this Word of God – the success book for life. Proverbs 10:3 – The LORD does not let the righteous go hungry, but He thwarts the craving of the wicked. This is about life. You will either be filled or go hungry (continue in your hunger) depending on what you are hungry for. First, from the top – The LORD does this… Whatever the Supreme in Authority does – is undoable, what He decides is unchangeable - zero percent chance of what He says not happening. Good thing for you… it’s good, because He is good, and He’s for you! But you need to know Him, to know what He’s for, and what He has for you! The LORD, the One with the power to do something, who makes the call about it… The LORD does not let the righteous continue in their hunger – without filling them, without giving them what they hunger for. The righteous – those in right standing and right doing – the righteous. Not the wicked – those who don’t know Him, His commands, or don’t do what He says, this is talking about the righteous – that’s who this is for. The righteous – who have put their faith in Jesus death on the cross in their place, to pay the penalty for their sins that separate them from God, and are thereby given access to a relationship with God. These are in right standing, the first half of righteous. Jesus blood now covers them, covers over the sins they’ve committed, and any sins they confess… They are considered righteous because He is righteous. They are in the right-standing of His righteousness. And right doing – those who think like Him, because they have been transformed by His Word – those who do what He says -because they know what He told them to do – they just asked, and then do it. They walk by His Spirit, not their mind or desires. His mind through His Word has changed their desires. And because their desires have become what He desires, what He desires for them, for their good, He does not let what they hunger for – go unfulfilled. Of course they get food to eat, but this also is for what the righteous have learned to hunger for. The wicked hunger for worldly desires. And they keep going hungry, even if they have three meals today, because God thwarts what they hunger for, He prevents it from happening. Your hunger gives you away, what you hunger for indicates what’s in your heart. So the closer you get to His heart, the more you desire what He desires – so He can fill what you are hungry for. So what are you hungry for? Praying that His Presence, PiVAT, and PRISM – are forming your hunger – because they are forming your heart to be a heart after God, like David. Praying that you will choose worship today, that you will just spend that time in His Presence – where everything He is – is waiting for you. Praying that PRISM has you coming back to His Word that will transform your mind, that will make you wise, and give you His desires. And praying that His PiVAT for you has you doing what He told you to do today, at the time He assigned for it. So you can see Him, and through Him, do things you could never have imagined. That you will know His assignments for you today, so your desires become His, so your hunger will be filled, that those new and greater desires that He gives you – become what you hunger for. He will not let you go hungry. You will be filled. Love you all, dad Love you all, praying for you,
I just love God’s Word. Do you know what I love most about God’s Word? God. His Word is God, Jesus is God’s Word – He took the form of a human, and lived among us, so we could see His glory, the glory of the Father – full of grace, and truth. One thing I love about God – is who He chooses. He chooses the unqualified. He doesn’t chose the qualified, He qualifies who He chooses. Adam wasn’t qualified, before God came along – he was just dust. Literally. Moses wasn’t qualified, he stuttered, he could barely finish a sentence. He also was a murderer, not a great start. Jacob wasn’t qualified, he was a cheater. Gideon wasn’t qualified, he was the least, of the least family, of the least tribe of Israel. David wasn’t qualified, he was just a kid, even his own family forgot him, he didn’t even get invited in his own house, when the most important person in all of Israel came to dinner. Mary wasn’t qualified, she had a reputation. Paul wasn’t qualified, he was a murderer – of God’s own people! He wasn’t unaware of God, he was actively working against Him! Jesus had to knock him off his horse just to get his attention. So why did God choose them? They would believe. That’s all. They believed what God said, so they did what He told them to do. It doesn’t matter what you did or didn’t do before He found you, before He chose you. He changes you by His Word. His written Word that you read and understand by the Holy Spirit, and His spoken Word to you, when you ask Him for His specific plans for you, He tells you and you do it. Praying that you will do what you were chosen for – that you will believe what He says, and do what He tells you to do. It’s how He can use you to make a significant difference, in something significant. Don’t worry about being qualified, Jesus is qualified – He’s the only one. And your belief and obedience to Him, is what enables Him to use you. Praying that you will seek Him today – for His mind through PRISM, and though PiVAT – that you will know His plans for you. Praying that you will be sharpened, and overcome through your Daily Call with another. Praying that you will know what His heart is today, so you can dwell on what He desires. You may not be called to do everything. But you can pray for the one who is, you may not be asked to go but you can encourage the one who is. That timely word can make a huge difference. You may not be called to go, but you can support financially those who are going or are already there. And you can share the good news of Jesus right where you are. All you need to do is believe, and know what He’s called you to do today. If you will obey, He’ll give you the grace to complete it. He’s already given you the faith if you’ll use it. Praying that you will keep your eyes on him, and your hand to the plow, that you will pray for those on the same team with you, that you will encourage those that God puts on your heart, and share freely, sowing as God tells you – into fruit bearing things. That you will fully obey with your mind and your time, with your money and your testimony – because all of these belong to Him, and He will direct them most effectively when you ask. Praying that you won’t think of being qualified, just faithful to believe and do what He says – the qualified One – who has chosen you, who you can believe because what He said is true, and everything He said, He will do. And whatever He tells you, He chose you. Praying that your faith today will please Him, that your obedience today will honor Him, and your Praise today will unleash Him. So everything you do – will glorify Him, and bring joy to you. Love you all, dad |
