Love you all, praying for you.
Praise God. I just love how practical God’s wisdom is. Praying that you never miss your PRISM time each day – those 5 things you can do in God’s Word every day – change you. Because His Word changes you. It’s a guaranteed return on your investment. God challenging me recently. Proverbs 26:20 - Without wood a fire goes out; without gossip a quarrel dies down. Gossip is one of those things that people do, but don’t think they do, or don’t admit to themselves they do. "It’s not gossip, it’s just being honest, its just sharing, it just seeking counsel." No, it’s gossip – a talebearer – to talk idly about the affairs of others. To prate – to talk much, and without weight, or to little purpose. Continued talk to little purpose, trifling talk, or to slander – a false tale or report maliciously uttered, and tending to injure the reputation of another by lessening him in the esteem of his fellow citizens. Slander – that worst of poisons, ever finds an easy entrance to ignoble minds – Noah Webster. God is saying less gossip, less quarrels. The fear of the LORD is just the opposite – the Fear of the LORD is to turn from evil, tremble in His presence, fully obey, and say nothing harmful about others (Psalms 34:13). And then God challenged me – your words can cause quarrels between others (when talking about others to others), but your words are also what causes quarrels between you and others. Without wood a fire goes out. When was the last time you were in a quarrel – that you didn’t say anything? Actually, never. A quarrel just like a conversation – requires two participants. How does every quarrel start? Someone says something that another takes offense at. Either you say something offensive to others, or you take offense at something someone else says to you or others. While some people will be offended no matter what you say, most quarrels that you are a participant in – are self inflicted. You either unwisely spoke in timing or content, or you unwisely took offense. Quarrels most often occur with those you are closest with. And quarrels start by words ill chosen or ill-spoken. Sometimes a mere request or disclaimer of not wanting to miscommunicate – or asking for understanding – when feeling the need to be direct, can set a tone of humility that prevents quarrels. But most of the time – merely asking God if you should even say anything at all – can stop most quarrels from even starting. And the opposite side of the coin – walking in the humility that just declines to take offense, when someone else speaks out of more emotion than consideration – by choosing to be unoffendable – but rather – seeking to understand - can head a quarrel off at the pass – before it even gains momentum. And finally what if you find yourself – through ill chosen words, or lack of humility – in the middle of a quarrel. What if you chose to decline... decided to cease your participation? What if you chose not to have the last word, but graciously bowed out. God says every fool is quick to quarrel – that means the wise are slow to quarrel – they just don’t, they decline. Praying that you will practice God’s Word and God’s wisdom first with those closest to you… your spouse, and immediate family members. Praying that you will choose not to use words that could start quarrels, and that you would not let any ill-chosen words by others – entice you into taking offense. And praying that you would always choose humility – beforehand – to seek to understand before being understood. Praying that your PRISM time is maturing you in the mind of Christ. Love you all, dad

Love you all, praying for you.
I’m so very thankful for PRISM – those five things you can do in God’s Word every day. It’s life changing – it constantly puts me in the place where God is speaking. I love that sometimes God hovers. Sometimes the Holy Ghost will have you in a circular pattern in one chapter or passage. It’s like you can’t move on until God is done. He keeps giving deeper revelation – clearer understanding – practical application. It’s not just something nice to hear – It’s what God is trying to infuse into your DNA – a pattern of thought – a habit of action – a change of nature and character. Praise God! Don't Forget - the two secrets to your PRISM time in His Word - #1 Always do PRISM in worship. The harp unfolds the riddle – always start and continue your PRISM time in His Word – with Praise – with worship. In that atmosphere – God moves. The Holy Spirit speaks, evil spirits flee, revelation comes easy, understanding comes quickly. And #2 Do PRISM Out Loud! Your mouth speaking His Word – is mission critical for it to become a part of you. God hovering with me recently. Psalms 112:7-8 He will have no fear of bad news; his heart is steadfast trusting in the LORD! His heart is secure, he will have no fear; in the end he will look in triumph on his foes. He will have no fear of bad news? Who? The first part of the chapter clearly states who… The one who Praises the LORD, Fears the LORD, Delights In His commands, Who is upright (straight, not crooked), the one who is gracious – whose words are kind, the one who is compassionate – who extends mercy and help to others, who does what is right, they are righteous, who conducts their affairs with justice, they don’t cheat people, they are givers. These are the ones this verse is talking about. He will have no fear of bad news. That means two things. #1 - He will not fear when bad news comes. When what everyone else was afraid would happen, finally happens – He will have no fear when bad news comes. His heart is secure, because his heart is steadfast – trusting in the LORD. The LORD has always been, is right now, and always will be His refuge - the first place He turns to. His trust is fully and completely in Jesus. What other people fear- will not come near the door of his house. What the devil intends for evil – Jesus turns into good. He has no fear when bad news comes. But there is another half of that promise. He will have no fear of bad news. Not only if it comes, but every time it might come – which is always – for some people. Many fear bad news that never comes, but they are still living continually in the fear of it. But this person, that this chapter is speaking of... this man or woman of God has no fear of bad news. They live in faith, in hope, in love and joy. They prosper in the abundance of God - they're obeyers! Even temporary loss or setback in the natural has no bearing or effect on the abundance they live in. They are seated in heavenly places with Christ Jesus. Their heart is steadfast, secure, trusting in the LORD – and they do it now – before any bad news comes. When times or good or bad, or uncertain – they are always certain. Praying that PiVAT before dinner will have you walking in obedience. It’s a protection for you! Praying that PRISM will be your bedrock daily commitment – the habit what reveals the wisdom, the plans, and the goodness of God for your life. Praying that you are walking daily with someone in a Daily Call – overcoming with them by the blood of the Lamb and the Word of your Testimony. Praying that you Fear Not – and never Fret – but today and every day - put your trust in the LORD. Love you all, dad Love you all, praying for you.
One of the most important questions to ask yourself… What does God say about this? What are you doing today? …whether work, or family, or project, or people. Life can pass by, we can be busy with all kinds of things. Most people just do things that seem right, or things that they’ve always done, or things everyone else is doing… Few people ask God what to do (specifically) and how to do it. That’s why PiVAT before dinner, PiVAT Weekly on Sunday, and PiVAT Monthly on the 31st is so significant. It brings the blessing of obedience to your life. Your obedience enables God’s plans for you to become your reality – rather than just a wish or a dream or an occasional talking point. PRISM – is how you know what God says about this – no matter what He told you to do. It’s the why to, and the how to, and the His love for you. Praying that you will know specifically what He wants you to do. Praying that you will do it when He says it’s time. And praying that whatever you do – that you will know what the God of all success says about it. Praying that you will ask God what PRISM Topic He Has for you today. There are things in life that some people do, there are things in life that all people do. But no matter what you do – there is God’s Way and man’s way of doing it. Just the mere question – What Does God Say About This? will prevent you from doing things He doesn't have for you, or trying to do things He has for you - in your own way. PiVAT will prevent squandered time on things God never has for you - or does not have for you right now. It will make sure you don’t waste precious time and mental energy on the wrong thing period, or the wrong thing at this time - which keeps you from what God has for you. Praise God – PRISM (those five things you can do in God’s Word every day) will tell you what God says about this. So will a PRISM Topic - the power of God’s Word on a single subject – a Relationship Topic – a perspective from God’s Word on relationships. Or a PRISM Topic Packet – which combines PRISM Topics and Relationship Topics – on similar subjects. They will point you to the infinite knowledge of God – that is so specifically related to this thing that you are doing. How necessary is wisdom? How valuable is understanding? How important is success to you? God has it, He wants to give it, His Word contains it, and His Holy Spirit transfers it. Searching out what God says about this – will enable you to walk in it with the wisdom and understanding He gives. When you seek and soak in the heart of God regarding this thing – it changes your perspective, and if your perspective can change – your life can change. Praise God - He is always changing you, refining you, teaching you, instructing you – if you will receive it. Praying that your M: of PRISM - your Meditate on the Word - Your PRISM Topic for today – will reveal what God says about this. So you can walk in it! His way is always better, it’s truth, it’s freedom, and joy in the success He gives! Love you all, dad Love you all, praying for you.
I’m so thankful for God’s reminders. It’s how He grows us – not only changes us, but establishes us so we walk in the change. Ecclesiastes 8:12 – Who is like the wise man? Who knows the explanation of things? Wisdom brightens a man’s face and changes its hard appearance. The wisdom of God is infinite, impossible to capture in a few descriptions. But Solomon reveals a couple marks of wisdom – revealers of the wise. They know the explanation of things – and their face is different. PRISM is God’s gift – so you learn to walk in wisdom. Those five things you can do in God’s Word every day – is how God reveals the explanation of things. His Truth is infinite – and it’s specific, it’s unique and it’s iterative, it’s timely, and it’s daily. It’s how you walk in true wisdom. The infinite wisdom of God – for you! PRISM is how He reveals it to you by His Holy Spirit. Could you use wisdom today? Do you want to grow in it? Praying that you will never miss your PRISM time with Him – whether a hectic work day – or a complete vacation day. His Word is the explanation of things – not only things that apply to everyone and everything in life – but His specific plans for you for your life today – and in this hour. PRISM is how you test and approve what His will is, His good pleasing and complete will - that He gives you every PiVAT before dinner - Romans 12:1-2. It’s His wisdom – just waiting for you. A mark of the wise – they are soaked in His Word. And it changes their face. The wise are not concerned, they have a brightened face, not a furrowed brow. They are pleasant of countenance, kind of word, gracious of answer, humble of heart. Not contentious, they seek peace and pursue it, they overlook insult, they are content with what God gives them, they faithfully steward every blessing, they forgive as they have been forgiven. Praying that the marks of wise will be the marks of you, because the habits of the wise – are the habits of you. Praying that PRISM – God’s Word, will give you the explanation of things today, and that you will choose the face – that reflects it. Love you all, dad Love you all, praying for you.
God reminding me how important it is to do PRISM with your spirit, not with your mind. Because your spirit hears the Holy Spirit, your mind can play tricks on you. The Word of God is not what you think… the Word of God is what God speaks by His Holy Spirit. It’s the Holy Spirit who helps you discern and understand – even God’s Words written in the Bible, and His plans spoken to you. Ask Him to help you, and He will. When you pray, pray in the Spirit so you can pray in the understanding. And you will release the grip of your mind, and grow the grip of the Holy Spirit. There’s a famous passage of scripture that Solomon wrote, that can be misunderstood if read only from the mind. Ecclesiastes 3:1 – There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the son. That’s why PiVAT before dinner, (PiVAT Weekly, and PiVAT Monthly) is so important. The only way you can know for sure what time it is, and what season it is, and what activity God wants you to do in this season, this day, this hour - is to ask Him, and hear by the Holy Spirit – what He is saying specifically to you. That’s the joyful journey of obedience in life – it takes you to places you couldn’t have imagined, much less gotten there on your own. A time to be born, a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain, a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away, a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak, a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace. The only way you’ll know what time it is, is if you ask the Holy Spirit to reveal it, not let your mind decide. Most people let their mind decide, so when it’s time to mourn, people think it’s time to mourn. When it’s time to dance, people think it’s almost time to mourn. They miss out on the dancing. If you don’t know what time it is (and you don’t); Ask God. Ask the Holy Spirit to lead you into all truth and reveal things which are yet to come. He will! Our minds can play tricks on us – your mind will start thinking of this passage as a 50/50 passage. But that’s not what God’s Word says. It just mentions both things, it never says they are 50/50 - that one will happen as much as the other. Not true. How many times did Jesus heal? And How many times did He kill? It wasn’t 50/50. The word of God says – rejoice in the LORD always, and again I say rejoice. Yes, there will be times to mourn, but the times of rejoicing are far more. As with many of these things – it’s a choice, we choose what we will do. We either ask Him, or not, but we still choose. Praying that you will put your mind with your mouth – under submission to the Holy Spirit. Praying that today you will be born, that you will plant, heal, build, laugh, dance, gather, embrace, search, keep, mend and listen to God and others – and speak God’s Promises to yourself and to them. Praying that you would not just think… but always ask the Holy Spirit – what time it is - so you will have victory in this season – in this day, and this hour. Love you all, dad Love you all, praying for you.
God prompting me this morning. During Holiday weeks – often extended families get together for a few days. There is a lot of cooking and baking and eating and babies and cousins and diapers and football games and shopping trips, and game nights, and all those things that you do as a family. As quick as those weeks come, they are gone. And often the vacation and family time that God gave as a gift for a change of pace, can get consumed by a pace equal to or greater than the work week pace. And after the food and the games and the fun – often I’ve found my opportunity for extra time in His Word – got away from me, and some days – I even missed time with Him altogether. This isn’t religion – and many will say sometimes you just need to unplug… and I couldn’t agree more – unplug from the world, but not from Him, not from the One who wants to direct your vacation days just as much as He wants to direct your work days. Who knows how to get the most rest and refreshing out of a vacation day – as much as He knows how to get the most productivity and success out of a business day. Praying that you will consider even during a family get-together week – a quick 3-Day-Challenge with a family member. Even this week, a parent or grandparent, a sibling or cousin. Maybe you’ve been Daily Call partners with them before and now both of you have walked with others… Maybe they have never heard of a Daily Call – and you could just seek God together with them – even during busy family holidays. It will take you into His presence, and will help you hear His still small voice for you – His perfect timed word of revelation that you really need when spending a few days in a row with family you don’t see all the time. Maybe just do PiVAT before dinner together with them. Maybe do PRISM together for a day. Rotate your Praise the Word verse – Read the Word through the same Chapter. Rotate reading today’s Insight from the Word – in the Proverbs Chapter for today – together. And S.O.A.P. out what God reveals as your SOAP verse, and share together what God just spoke. And pick a PRISM topic to review together - and Pray It Over Them! It will take your family week – to a whole new level. It will focus you on Jesus, the LORD of love – (so you can love your family better) the SOURCE of wisdom (so you know what to say and not say, and when), and the God of Peace… (so you are seeking peace and pursuing it) when family tempers can at times be short. During busy Holidays, we could sometimes lose our connection with Jesus – the One who makes every earthly relationship more rich and rewarding. Praying that you’ll ask God who even in your own family – He might want you to invite for a 3-Day-Challenge this Holiday week. PiVAT before dinner will never yield nothing – When we ask for wisdom and His plan for us for tomorrow – He always tells us. It’s good! It’s better than we can come up with - whether a work day or a vacation day. PRISM will never return empty – He promised. And overcoming with your testimony on that Daily Call with a family member – will not only increase the effectiveness of this family visit – and make you a greater blessing to everyone, but the Holiday week will take on a new significance. There will be seeds planted that will reap a harvest for weeks and months and years to come. You won’t come away from this week with just memories – you’ll come away with all that God had for you! Love you all, dad Love you all, praying for you.
... that you will open the gift of Sundays. These are always special days – not like other days, not business as usual. They are a gift from God, the day we consider the Sabbath. A day of rest and refreshing. Exodus 20:9-10 - Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your male or female servant, nor your animals, nor any foreigner residing in your towns. For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but He rested on the seventh day. Therefore God blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy. The principles of the Old Testament continue into the New Testament – just like tithing Jesus confirmed them, but He clarified the freedom that He is and has– when the Pharisees were constantly accusing him of breaking the Sabbath. He called them out on their hypocrisy - in Luke 14:5. What they banned from others, they did themselves. He said when your donkey falls in ditch you carry him out, thereby breaking your own rules. Then Jesus said this, Mark 2:27 - ... the Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. It’s a gift from God – a change of pace, a day like no other – not business as usual. It’s a day to be refreshed. That word Sabbath - <shab-bawth’> literally means intermission, from shabbath – to repose, desist from exertion; cause to cease, celebrate, to leave, to put away. Repose means to lay at rest (after the battle) but also to rest as the mind, in confidence or trust, to repose confidence or trust in a person's veracity. A quiet rest of mind, fully confident in Him! Jehovah Jireh - your provider. I just love the modern day example of Chick Fil A - soon the 3rd largest fast food chain on the planet - who remains closed on Sundays. The gift of Sundays are a day unto the LORD, but Jesus said, they were made for us, for a break, for a refreshing! Sunday’s are a day for Praise – Praying that your praise is glorious today. Every time you think of Him – Praise comes out! - It has to! Put words to it. Not just in church – but in the car, getting ready for church, on the way, coming home. Praise Him – He’s so worth it! It’s a day of worship – to bow down in His presence, to quiet yourself before Him. It’s a day to bless others (listen, hear, encourage, admonish, and exhort in the LORD. To serve others – you have time! You don’t have to go to your regular work today. This is a day of intermission – like half-time of the game. Where you can recollect and reconsider. The gift of Sundays are to Remember – all the blessings He has poured out on you. To recount all the testimony of His faithfulness this week. It’s a day to Soak in His Word – Maybe get away with Him, just the two of you - some extra PRISM time. Read a book of the Gospels, or Acts, or one of Paul’s letters to the Church. To get the refreshing, and the renewal that He has for you – renewed vision – His locker room speech for you at half-time that will launch you into the coming week. Sunday’s are a day to Seek – To lay your calendar before Him – To let Him Speak and Direct your PiVAT Weekly for the coming week. So you hear His plans for you – for your good, for your blessing - as He shows you things to come. He wants to make His Name great in you this week. And Sunday’s are a day to Love. Love for God is to obey? What does He have for you today? It will be a change of pace, but an opportunity to love others as well – to prefer and serve them. Praying that Sunday’s will be a highlight of your week. Where you remember your testimony of His faithfulness. Praying that you will seek Him for His plans for you this coming week. So that you will be renewed and refreshed – that His praise will be on your lips, that you will be open to His leading to serve others, that you will soak in His Word – and glory in His Name! Love you all, dad Love you all, praying for you.
God showing me recently Proverbs 17:2 – A wise servant will rule over a disgraceful son, and will share an inheritance as one of the brothers. Wow, a servant who is faithful – will be treated like a son - and get the same inheritance as a son. A wise servant - very rare. Most people are unwise, they lack wisdom. Many are even fools – but few are wise. Because few are humble and fear the LORD – the beginning of wisdom. And few hunger and thirst for His Word – the source of wisdom. They don’t spend much time in the Word of Truth – that teaches wisdom. PRISM hasn't become a habit for them yet - so it becomes a longing. Equally, few are servants. Most want to be served, they want preeminence. They don’t want the sacrifice of taking the low place. Really, the low place wouldn’t be that bad, if it wasn’t lower than someone else’s place You can’t have the low place unless someone is higher than you. Taking the low place when you have no choice is not the same humility as choosing the low place, giving someone else the higher – when you have a choice in the matter. That’s why a wise servant is rare – an endangered species. The inheritance of God is spiritual – but not only spiritual – natural also! God owns the wealth of the world and gives it to whomever He chooses. But those who just want earthly inheritance, who are not content with Spiritual inheritance - are after only temporary wealth... 'not for long' trinkets. But Spiritual inheritance yields eternal wealth and earthly wealth that doesn’t rust of fade - and brings no trouble with it. Praying for you that you won’t be duped by the temporary – that you won’t measure yourself by those addicted to the temporary – short-sighted individuals – like Esau who sold his birthright for some Campbell's Chunky. Praying that you will have the heart of a servant – the heart of Jesus - toward everyone – starting with your spouse and siblings and family, and then friends and relatives and even strangers. A heart of a servant not only for those who are easy to get along with – but also for those who are not. That the example of true leadership which Jesus taught – would actually become your heart and mind and practice. There is a joy in serving. Serving alone – is you choosing the low place – lower than the one you serve. Praying also that wisdom will take root in you. That you would be humble and fear God (turn from evil, tremble in His presence, fully obey, say nothing harmful, seek peace and pursue it.) Praying that your PRISM time with Him in His Word, would be a daily addiction, and your PiVAT before dinner will have you hearing and obeying His plans for you – which is the action of wisdom. Praying that you will be a wise servant – who humbly accepts the wisdom of God planted in you through His Word. So you like God’s Son Jesus – become the servant of all, walking in the wisdom that God gives by the Holy Spirit through His Word. Praying that you will ask yourself two questions. Am I willing to serve today? And Is getting wisdom a priority for me today? Then ask God who He wants you to serve, and ask Him for wisdom. He will tell you and then give you the next piece - to add to the wisdom He has already given you. Love you all dad Love you all, praying for you.
I had never heard of a dongle before – until I bought an older iphone with only one receptor. Previously my phone had a receptor for the charger, and a receptor for headphones. But the older – new to me – iphone I purchased only came with one – for the charger. A dongle was required for headphones or ear plugs to work through the charger receptor. I guess that’s what a dongle does – it enables two dissimilar things to function together. God reminded me recently of the dongle I need. The very most dissimilar things in life - are the way that seems right to you – and the way that God has for you. It’s the fundamental truth and reality of God’s Way and Man’s way. In everything in life – there is God’s Way and Man’s way – Praying that you will review that PRISM Topic – God’s Way or Man’s Way. It’s a little longer – just because multiple verses attest to this truth. His plans for you versus what you would plan for you – are as dissimilar as the heavens are higher than the earth. And the only way that you can walk in His plans which are so way better than yours – is obedience. So what’s the dongle you need for obedience to gain traction. The only way to obey – is to ask Him what His plans for you are – that’s what happens every time you do PiVAT before dinner. And then, to understand what He just told you… that’s what PRISM throughout the day – those five things you can do in His Word – which transform your mind into the mind of Christ – enables you to understand. Romans 12:1-2 shares this clearly. And your Daily Call – that partner you overcome with daily – through the blood of the Lamb and the Word of your testimony – enables you to walk in the plans that God has for you – which are so very good. So what’s the dongle? How does the Holy Spirit – reveal the difference? The dongle that is so needful – is your PiVAT Maybe To Do List. Praying that you will listen or read that PRISM Topic – How2 PiVAT Maybe. Where you write down all the things that you think you gotta do – so the Holy Spirit can reveal the difference. Your PiVAT Maybe is the dongle that connects you –PiVAT Maybe from your ways – into God’s ways for you. You’ll have two PiVAT Maybe’s - your scratch PiVAT Maybe for today – that extra paragraph on a Conversations Page today in your Conversation Log – that help you sift through the urgent, versus your ongoing PIVAT Maybe for this month – which contains those larger items or later items than just today – for God to confirm, delay or delete. Praying that you would never lose that dongle. It’s hard to listen to God's voice without one. Praying that as The Holy Spirit reveals the difference between your ways and God’s ways for you – that the grace He abundantly gives – would enable you to always chose His ways over yours. They are usually simpler – than your concoctions. With His Ways - He does the heavy lifting and you just get in the boat with Him. And one more thing – since it’s Grace that enables you to say no, not just to sins which come so naturally, but also to plans which come so naturally – so you can say yes to His plans for you which come Spiritually… Since it’s Grace that helps you choose – and He gives more grace to the Humble – praying that you would choose Humility today. That it would be your hallmark – so His power flows through you. So He gets the glory – and you get the blessing. Love you all, dad Love you all, praying for you.
That’s an odd word – latent: It means hidden, concealed, not noticed or realized at the start. Something under the surface now that will be revealed later. Often we consider latent things negative – like latent motives or malice. But often they are benefits that we didn’t realize. We bought a car once that actually was a flex fuel vehicle, a feature we weren't aware of. A benefit we didn’t even know existed. God reminded me of a latent benefit of one the most important relationships in your life - Your Daily Call. It's built-in Godly counsel! God said in Hebrews 3:13 – Exhort one another daily, as long as it is called today, so that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. While God says do not add to His word, or take away from it, it’s always good to ask the Holy Spirit to paraphrase for you – to help you gain understanding. One another – one person exhort another person – while you have the chance. While the window is still open – as long as it’s called today. That Daily Call – God’s instruction, His principle, and command for your overcoming - is important to do today! While you have the chance. If you are between Daily Call Partners – praying that you will ask God when to do your next 3-Day-Challenge with someone. Maybe even 30 days, or for whatever season God has ordained. There are far more blessings that come from obeying God’s Command than meet the eye on the surface. One latent benefit of Daily Calls was brought to my attention again this morning. After our 15 minute Daily Call was finished (extremely encouraging!) I asked Justin if he had another minute for some counsel. I shared briefly a series of decisions I was facing, and their inter-connect-ability – as decisions have repercussions as well as consequence. And the counsel he gave was spot on. Like God was speaking to me. (because He was). In fact, I was surprised that I didn’t think of that myself – because it’s something that I believe, but had just lost in the shuffle. There’s nothing like the counsel of obeyers. Your Daily Call Partner is growing with you daily – walking in the Spirit - in the Word of God through PRISM, and the Obedience of God through PiVAT and this Daily Call – so any time you obey the LORD’s command in Hebrews 3:13 – and if you use a Daily Call to help you do that – not only will you learn to be an overcomer, the wisdom of your counsel will grow. The silly foolishness that you used to believe or say – gets removed. and replaced by His Word, your obedience, and your testimony – and His wisdom begins to take up residence in you. This is of great benefit not only to you and your family but for others as well. Praying that you will seek counsel, like the wise do, and that your time in PiVAT before dinner, PRISM throughout the day, and your Daily Call – the victory that God has for you is enlarged with that latent benefit of sharing and receiving counsel – wisdom from God for you and through you for others. So all of us can grow into the likeness of Jesus – the Word of God – the source of all wisdom, knowledge and understanding. It’s how you walk in all the Good that God has stored up for you. Love you all, dad |
