Love you all, praying for you!
Wow. What a day. Can you imagine what was happening on that Saturday? Reality had finally set in. Shell-shocked. Jesus, the One sent from God, the One we were so sure was the Messiah… The grief and the loss had to be unbearable. The loss of a friend. The best friend they every had. The loss of all their hopes and dreams. If Friday had been the darkest day in human history, Saturday had to be the lowest day of utter despair and hopelessness. Everything we thought and believed was wrong? God led me to something this morning that I had never seen before. A different context altogether – but a transcending truth that is life changing. Jeremiah 30:24 - the last half of that verse… “In the days to come you will understand this.” Wow. On Saturday, they were reeling. But in the days to come – they would surely understand. Not to pivot too quickly, but this truth is transcendent. This is powerful revelation for our life in Christ. There are some things we do not presently understand. Have you asked God for something? Prayed for something? Just asked to understand something that just doesn’t seem fair or right? And he doesn’t answer? No, He does answer, He is the answer, He just hasn’t fully revealed it yet. Here’s what God says – “In days to come you will understand this.” Know there is a time set for our understanding – a day, an hour, that is yet to come. The truth of it – the answer – is already established right now. It exists, it is fully understood, fully evident – even thought we do not understand it fully – right now. So, If there is a day and an hour set for our understanding… Then… What is today and this hour – the set day and hour of understanding for? (For what was not yet understood from a yesterday?) What day is it today? What does God want me to understand today, that I used to not understand? Don’t worry about what you will understand tomorrow, what does He want you to understand today? To understand it, you have to be in PiVAT, PRISM, and His Presence. Don’t miss PRISM today, you might miss it! Don’t miss His Presence today, you might miss it. What don’t you understand today? Will you wait in faith for His timing, and believe what God said… that there is a day and hour set for you understanding… “You will” means, you will. Or will you let your faith be shaken because you don’t understand today – what God says you will understand in days to come. Will you stand in Faith today – or let yourself be tossed by the latest wind of doubt and unbelief. Just because you don’t understanding something right now, doesn’t mean God is not good, or God won’t bring to pass every good thing He has planned. In days to come, you will understand this… Yield to His timing. So two questions you should ask: What is today? and What don’t I understand? Spend most of your energy on the first, not the second. What has God purposed for you to understand today? What is today the day of understanding for? You gotta be in PRISM and His Presence to receive it. The next question: What don’t I understand today? 1) Ask Him to reveal it – and trust His timing. 2) Speak the truth you do know (What God has revealed so far) 3) Believe that He has set the day and hour for you to understand it – for it to be revealed. 4) Don’t worry about that day… Get Busy Obeying what God told you today… to DO, and RECEIVE. Praying for you, that you would declare, that you would believe, and that you would receive and that you would obey everything that He has purposed for you today. Love you all, dad

Love you all, praying for you!
And darkness fell on the earth from the 6th to the 9th hour. From noon til 3:00 pm in the middle of the day. The earth was a black as night. There is nothing that compares to crucifixion – the most tortured, brutal and inhumane death ever devised by the evil inspiration of man. A drawn out, prolonged, and most intense suffering. But those who suffered that fate, at the hands of the Romans, didn’t face what Jesus faced; the crown of thorns, the betrayal their close friend, the abandonment of everyone he loved and served, the ridicule of absolute hypocrites, and total strangers. And the crushing weight of the sin of the world – that not only turned the Fathers face, but was as foreign to his body and Spirit as it was to His Fathers… all of that – laid on him. Unimaginable. I cannot even comprehend, I can only bow down and worship. And the disciples… the utter shock of having just experienced that brutality, the guilt of their abandonment, their dreams and faith disintegrated, left only with the complete disillusionment they were drowning in. What just happened? Is this even possible? Where is God? How could He let this happen? Are we supposed to wait for another Messiah? How could a new Messiah possibly speak the Words of God, and do the miracles of God, like this Jesus of Nazareth? Will they make the blind see and the lame walk? Heal the sick, feed the 5000, tell the wind and waves to be still? Will they raise Lazarus from the dead? When Jesus died, so did everything they thought and believed about him. Their entire model was smashed into pieces. We were so sure He was the One sent from God, that the prophets foretold. We even saw prophecy fulfilled! Surely He was going to take David’s throne in Jerusalem, and when Rome gathered their legions from all nations on earth and surrounded Jerusalem to besiege it – we would be right there with Jesus as he called down fire and hail upon them, like he spoke to the wind and the waves – until the entire Roman army is utterly destroyed in one day, just like God destroyed the Egyptian army in the Red Sea. Then each of us would get a throne next to Jesus, and we would reign with him in Jerusalem over all the earth! No more Caesar, no more taxes or Roman soldiers. True priests and Levites serving in the temple – the Pharisees gone, the people bringing their sacrifices every year… But this is the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. So that no sacrifice is any longer necessary He IS the sacrifice. With Jesus death, every hope and expectation they had, died with him. God always lets natural dreams die, so that by His Spirit, His dreams can be revealed, His will for you, His eternal destiny for you. So what did you expect? What did you come to believe God for? Did it not turn out the way you expected? Like you fully believed? So what do you do now? Put your trust in the LORD. Wait on Him. Believe what you cannot see, what you cannot imagine. He will reveal Himself to you. He will fulfill every promise He has every made. He will fulfill what He has purposed in you since before the foundations of the earth. Praying that today as we remember what He did – in our place… that you will lay down every natural understanding and expectation that you have – so that He can resurrect in your life what He has prepared. That all honor and all glory and all blessing would be to the Name of Jesus – who now sits on the throne, ever interceding for you! Oh LORD! Would you bring everyone to Salvation in this Name. The Name of Jesus! Would you give us boldness to share this good news with everyone we know, in Jesus’ Name. Love you all, dad Love you all, praying for you!
Can’t help thinking about today. Within hours, Jesus would be arrested. And everyone would scatter. Not a solitary person to defend him, or stand with him, or stand beside him. What happened to His disciples? Those guys who all said they would stay with him to the death! Who said they could drink the cup he would drink? Where were all his brothers and sisters? Where were all those whom he healed, and healed their children? Where were those he taught every Sabbath whose lives were so changed by his teaching? Where were the twenty thousand that came to hear him preach and saw him feed every one of them with a little boy’s lunchbox? Where were they? He faced utter brutality, pure hatred, full jealousy, complete hypocrisy, the full evil of what the heart of man can imagine. The overwhelming injustice of it! And he faced it alone. His closest friends forsook him and denied him. No one stood with him. And in the end – even His Father in Heaven would turn his face on our sin which was fully on him. What a price your sin cost him. Isaiah 53:5 - But He was pierced for our rebellion, he was crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed. - What kind of love is this? Praying for you today. That we would remember the price He paid, that our sin cost. This amazing love. How can it be, that you my King would die for me. Praying that all of our lives will honor the one who was rejected – so we could forever be accepted. Love you all, dad Love you all, praying for you!
Just felt God wanted me to follow up from yesterday’s New Information Filter. Everyone has a Model - How they believe the world works. And everyone measures incoming information against that model. (Richard Maybury in his book – Personal, Career and Financial Security does a good job of explaining the concept of models – that we taught you when you were children.) Everyone decides what new information is important or not. And everyone decides what information is fact or not. Most people are like lemmings – they go along with the group-think of their culture, or of those who share their model. And most people are intellectually dishonest. Most people will reject even true facts - that do not match their model. For example. If you believe the world is flat, the fact that an approaching ship from the distance appears mast and sails first, will be rejected by you as irrelevant. Or if you believe the sun revolves around the earth, not only will you not consider any evidence contrary to that belief, you will persecute, even execute as heretics those who disagree – as morally evil. It happened. Most people are so dogmatically insistent on their model – they will refuse to even consider alternatives – to the point of embarrassment… “There is no such thing as absolute truth!” (So you’re… absolutely sure about that?) Proverbs 2:6 For the LORD gives wisdom and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. He holds success in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless. God’s Word says – There is no wisdom, no truth apart from God. That is the real issue. Proverbs 14:6 – the mocker seeks wisdom and finds none, but knowledge comes easily to the discerning. Mocker – one who places little value on correction. New information is always misinterpreted by the mocker. God’s truth doesn’t fit their model. So they reject outright… the only truth there is. James 3:13-16 Who is wise and understanding among you. Let him show it by their good life, and the humility that comes from wisdom. But if you harbor biter envy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast about it or deny the truth. Such wisdom does not come from God, but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic. So when receiving new information, use your New Information Filter and also consider the source. There are two wisdoms. True wisdom that comes from God, and false wisdom – that which appears to be wisdom. The devil is the deceiver. He is the father of lies, from the beginning. He is the father of most models held by humans today. You’ll notice models essentially hinge on one issue. God. (and His Word) You either accept what He says, or reject it. In school they teach kids that science and what they call religion are incompatible. As if you have to choose between one or the other. They are void of knowledge. But have effectively ingrained since childhood a rejection of truth – which comes from God alone. Why do most models reject God? Because if you admit there is a Sovereign Creator, you are faced with an obvious dilemma – intellectual honesty demands the question – What does my Creator want from me? Isaiah 53:6 – All we like sheep are gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all. So models are at their root – spiritual. Your model agrees with what God says and expects from man, or it is in opposition to His Word – and His Truth – the only truth there is. So as everyone’s models are always expanding with new information, how do we assess new information? In an intellectually honest and prudent way. NEW INFORMATION FILTER .1) Is it true? .2) Where is the evidence .3) What’s in it for them? .4) What does God say? .1) Is it true? Just because everybody believes it – doesn’t make it true. Just because all scientists agree (even that is inaccurate)… doesn’t make it true. All scientists agreed that the earth was flat. (And that ‘blood-letting’ cured diseases) even Christopher Columbus’ crew about murdered him for fear of ‘reaching the edge and falling off.’ Had they just read God’s Word… Isaiah 40:22 – He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth. (Yep, it’s not flat.) Science and religions can be incompatible, but not science and God’s truth. Today’s Academia didn’t start as a secular rebellion against God. Solomon, the wisest man who ever lived was given by God – in depth insight into science, art, music… God’s creation – leads man to academic pursuits- to discover his creation. That’s what science is. And anyone who uses Science to disbelieve who created it, is not a scientist, they are a religious zealot. Atheism is a religion. Early educational institutions were started by those with strong Christian belief – Harvard and Yale were Puritan Universities, Princeton was a Presbyterian institution. The greatest scientific and technological advancements have with few exceptions come from nations whose governments were founded upon Judeo-Christian ethic. Because all science leads to the discovery of what God created – and therefore leads to the discovery and worship of God. Just like education and science, truth will always lead you to God. So New Information – Is It True? .2) Where is the evidence? “Everyone knows that… xyz…” That’s not evidence – that’s opinion. The Scientific Method .1. Gather Evidence .2. Examine the Evidence .3. Hypothesize (make an educated guess about its meaning) .4. Test the hypothesis .5. Invite others to test it (if true, their results should confirm yours) .6. Form a working hypothesis Not perfect, but the scientific method leads to reasonable surety of a hypothesis, recognizing future discoveries may further or alter our current understanding. Evidence – that which elucidates and enables the mind to see truth. Proof arising from the senses, the testimony of others, or from inductions of reason. Elucidate – from Latin – light. To make clear or manifest; to remove obscurity from. To render intelligible (Able to be understood) Most information – commonly accepted as fact – is merely opinion that has gained a following. Use your filter. Where’s the evidence? .3) What’s in it for them? You can typically put more credence on presenters of new information – who have nothing to gain. What’s in it for them? Typically – money. But also – power. Just because someone is not directly making money off of (you believing this) doesn’t mean they are not gaining power from it. And just because someone gets a commission – doesn’t mean it is not really the best widget. Wisdom requires you to consider the source, and search out the evidence. One who rejects God or His Word will have a skewed view of truth and the information they present should always be viewed with caution. Consider the source. Every ‘truth’ has a source. It either comes from the Word and promise of God, or it comes from the deceiver. So when considering new information, consider the source as well as what they stand to gain. And finally… .4) What does God say? Be like the Bereans. They weren’t gullible. They didn’t just believe everything that was ‘sold’ to them. They searched the scriptures daily to find out if what Paul said was true. Search the Word of God, get a multitude of Godly counsel, and never be afraid of true science – it always proves God. If facing a decision based on New Information – Please consider using the PiVAT Decision Tool (See advanced tools at hearwelldone.org) It will help you greatly! Even in decisions and decision-making, there is God’s way and man’s way. The best way to process new information is to be rooted and grounded in God’s Word. Do PRISM Daily – Never Miss! Transforming your mind with His Word: (I: Insight from the Word / Proverbs) Wisdom will grow in you! You will see deception easily. Finally. Ask the Holy Spirit to lead you. John 16:13 – But when He the Spirit of truth comes, He will lead you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. You will only know the truth – by the Holy Spirit. Ask Him. God sent Him to help you process New Information. Praying for you. That you would filter all new information – with your New Information Filter. That what you believe – would always be grounded in God’s truth. That wisdom would reside and grow in you. That you would be wise and not gullible. Powerful in truth, and always demonstrating His love to others. Love you all, dad Love you all, praying for you!
God prompted me today to remind you of the crucial importance of discernment. Everyone is faced with new information constantly. It either agrees with what you believe to be true, (supporting your model – your view of how the world works); or it is contrary to what you believe to be true, (opposing your model – your view of how the world works). So what do you do with this new information? You need a discernment filter. On my PiVAT Prayer List (even in prayer, there is God’s way and man’s way), In the Long Term Prayer Requests, I have for years prayed daily that you would be men of Issachar. I Chronicles 12:32 (those who God sent to join with David) - Men of Issachar, who understood the times, and knew what the people of God should do. (These were men of discernment, who understood the times, the culture, who discerned between truth and error, between political correctness, deception, and the wisdom of the Almighty. So what is your Filter for any new information – no matter how sincere, passionate, or well-intending the source? NEW INFORMATION FILTER *Every time you hear something new .1) Is it true? .2) Where is the evidence? .3) What’s in it for them? .4) What does God say? This is why PRISM every day is so vital in your life! Never let the devil steal your PRISM time from you. It’s the only way you will know… (Is it true?) Never let him steal your PiVAT before dinner! How will you know what God has for you tomorrow without seeking Him? Knowledge comes from obedience. A knowing by first-hand experience! Never let the devil steal your Daily Call. Built-in Counsel from an obeyer. This is critical to overcoming your enemy! Not being isolated and deceive-able. Use your Filter for every bit of new information. But here’s the key to the filter working… Hebrews 5:14-15 - People who live on milk are like babies who don’t really know what is right. But solid food is for adults, the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil. (God wants you to use this New Information Filter – every time!) But it only works through PiVAT and PRISM. You need to be obeying what He tells you! And soaked in His truth – so knowledge and understanding come easily to you. So the New Information Filter works! You will be rock solid, not simple, gullible or easily deceived… You will be wise, capable, established, fully prosperous – men and women of understanding, not tossed by the wind, but firm and established, grounded in truth. When you speak, God will be speaking through you, and others will listen, they will be drawn. And God will receive all of the glory! Praying for you. That you will PiVAT before dinner without miss. And fully obey all day every day, growing mature in every good thing He has for you. That PRISM will soak you. Daily Calls will establish you. New information will be easily discerned through God’s wisdom by the Holy Spirit. And that others will know the life and the unspeakable joy of Jesus in you! Love you all, dad Love you all, praying for you!
Praise God. He has GRACE for you! Divine power to do everything He has called you to do today. Praying that PiVAT will be your first look every morning, Inquiring of the LORD – like David. That He will confirm today’s tasks. That you would take joy in the journey – walking in the center of His will – all day – bearing much fruit. Here’s another contrast. God reminding me yesterday… Proverbs 14:17 - A quick tempered man does foolish things, and a crafty man is hated. Long before you have a temper problem, you have a response problem. How do you respond? Do you follow the abc’s? .a) Do you listen fully and completely when someone says something? .b) The very next thing – Do you reflect what you heard them say, and ask them to clarify – because you seek to understand… more than you seek to be understood? .c) Do you inquire of the LORD by the Holy Spirit? First to know whether to say anything at all – right now… or exactly what He wants you to say, or what He wants you to leave unsaid, or wait for a more opportune time to say it? Or do you fire back quickly, having taken offense, putting up defenses, making no attempt to clarify or understand their thoughts and feelings? Listening takes time. I just don’t have the time. I gotta… You gotta do what? Who said? What makes me believe that? Here’s the other half of that verse. A crafty man is hated. What is a crafty man? One who devises schemes to get what they want. Not interested in listening and understanding, interested in getting. And if they do listen, it’s only to discover ‘how to get.’ What’s the contrast? The righteous. A man of humility – the most significant mark of Christ – which He evidenced by his obedience – even to death on a cross. A humble man doesn’t craft schemes to get what they want… a humble man desires what God wants, and submits themselves to full obedience. They want good for others, more than they want good for themselves. Not just a ‘win-win’ to achieve monetary temporal benefit – but a “God-Win” drawing them to repentance, humility and obedience and the overwhelming love of God. The focus of humility isn’t craftiness- that’s the opposite of obedience – that’s man’s way… The focus of humility is God’s Way – and obedience is the outworking of humility. Someone recently interviewed 100 CEO’s to find the Top 10 most influential books that shaped their life. (Not surprisingly on a website called “waystowealth’) The top book? “Influence – by Robert Cialdini.” From the back cover: … the most important book on influence ever written. Psychological secrets of skilled persuaders, how to defend against them, and how to put those secrets to work on your own behalf… So just as Proverbs said… yes, people do hate crafty men, yet want to learn their secrets to benefit us. If Jesus wrote a book. (Yes, it would probably be called ‘The Bible’). But in comparison, if Jesus wrote a one-word Book Title… It would probably be called – “Humility” – (Subtitle – And it’s evidence through obedience) Philippians 2:8 And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death, even death on a cross. But what about influence? God says. No one can come to me, unless the Father who sent me draws them, and I will raise them up at the last day. – John 6:44 So should we influence people? Influence – to affect the passions, mind or will in persuading or dissuading. Persuade – to draw or incline the will to a determination or action by presenting motives to the mind. God says ‘he who wins souls is wise.’ It also says “He would that not any should perish, but all come to repentance…” 2 Peter 3:9 In the Great Commission – we are commanded to share the good news in every nation – discipling them to humility and obedience – everything that He commanded us. – Matthew 28:19-20 So if the Holy Spirit draws them, what can we do to let the Holy Spirit use us as He influences others to life and life more abundantly? It’s God’s kindness that leads us to repentance. – Romans 2:4 So while we share the good news, they are perhaps watching how we treat them, how we treat those we love, and how we treat others – as well as what we share with them. And since kindness begins with our response… Praying for you, that God’s kindness in your every response would be observed by others. That you would be even-tempered, not quick-tempered, that you would fully listen, clarify and understand, inquire of the LORD and speak only what the Holy Spirit tells you to speak. So His kindness can lead them to repentance. Love you all, and if you could… please pray for me for this too… Love you, dad Love you all, praying for you!
Praise God – His goodness has no limit, His love you is eternal, beyond understanding. He is so excited about you this week! The good things He has planned, if you will just ask Him and then take the first step. God revealing to me… The Bible is full of contrasts. God’s Way, man’s way, righteous, wicked, wise, foolish, blessings, curses. Here is another contrast… Saul and David. Their habits were clear. Clearly opposite. I Chronicles 10:13 Saul died because he was unfaithful to the LORD; he did not keep the Word of the LORD, he even consulted a medium for guidance, and did not inquire of the LORD. God left Saul. He died because .1) He was unfaithful to the LORD. .2) He did not inquire of the LORD. .3) He did not keep the Word of the LORD (even consulting a medium). Saul never used his mouth to commit his heart to obey. David always did it - constantly. That’s why his heart wasn’t for God like David’s was. Saul did not inquire of the LORD, or God’s plans tomorrow’s plans. So he hadn’t developed the habit of obeying, and when God told him to do something, he didn’t fully do it. No PiVAT, no obeying, no habit, no testimony, no overcoming. Saul didn’t do PRISM every day, like David did; so he didn’t love God’s Word like David – so he didn’t obey it. God left him, he lost everything. David was just the opposite. David committed out loud to obey so he grew in faithfulness. David did PiVAT every day – to inquire of the LORD. So God told him what to do and when. David did PRISM every day and it established his thoughts, words, and actions. Psalm 39:8 - I desire to do your will O my God; your law is in my heart. David was in PiVAT and PRISM constantly and he always declared his commitment to obey. His four habits were – Praise, PiVAT, PRISM, and Investing his mouth in God’s goodness, and his own obedience. It fashioned his heart after God’s – it made him an obeyer. Acts 13:22 I have found David, son of Jesse, a man after my own heart, he will do everything I want him to do. I Chron 11:9 And David grew more and more powerful because the LORD Almighty was with him. Praying that you will be like David. That you will commit with your mouth to obey. That PRISM will help you love His Word – so you obey it fully. That PiVAT before dinner, will have you inquire of the LORD – every day – so His plans become your path. Praying that praise will be the garment you wear – that it will always enter you into His presence. That The LORD Almighty would be with you. That you would grow more and more powerful in the calling, the plans and the harvest that He has for you. Love you all, dad Love you all, praying for you!
Praise God. Incredible what He does. Bridge City Small Group – God just spoke. Like He always does, without exception. He is faithful to His Word. Amazing every time. Praying for you. That you will seek God for His plan for you for this week. That He will speak His clear direction for you this week through PiVAT Weekly. A stark contrast God reveals… Proverbs 12:3 - A man cannot be established through wickedness, but the righteous cannot be uprooted. God is making a distinction between opposites. Diametrically opposed actions and results. Established – kun - <koon> To take root. To stand up, to set up, perpendicular, establish, appoint, render sure and prosperous, fastened, firm, fixed, provided for, set aright. (Uprooted) Move Root - Sheresh <sheh-resh> root, bottom, deep. Mot <mote> waver, slip, fail, be removed. Uprooted – tear out by the roots. So… surely prosperous – or completely lacking success or stability. That is one opposite: Results. The other opposite. Actions. Wicked – to do, declare or make wrong. To violate or depart. (turn from). Righteous – to do, declare or make right. To comply or turn to. An exact opposite. The wicked turn from, the righteous turn to. The choice: wicked or righteous. Be rendered surely prosperous - or Be rendered failingly unstable. You either turn to, (giving Him Full Control) or turn from His ways... That’s what decides the result. Wicked is not just evil (meant to cause harm), wicked is anything – not God – not what God said or told you to do… Anything you do apart from God, turning from Him… doing it on your own, wickedness – can never render you surely prosperous. But everyone who turns to God, submitting to his way, doing only what He says and when… is set firm, established in provision and prosperity. And Nothing can uproot them. Either never take root, or never be uprooted. Turn to, or turn from, come to, or depart. Righteous or wicked. That will determine your results this week… Unable to find success, or established in His success for you! Praying for you that this weekend, you will turn to Him, like the righteous – getting His plan for this week through PiVAT Weekly… So that everything you do this coming week at His direction, through Him – will render you surely prosperous! So nothing can uproot you. Love you all, dad Love you all, praying for you!
Praise God, He is teaching me how to obey even in this hour. He is revealing next steps in the night season, revealing such practical things through PRISM that He wants me to really put into practice. And I’ve been so challenged in my Daily Calls! Walking daily with another obeyer has so many benefits, it’s hard to even count. God confirming His Word. Praise God! Felt God wanted me to share this… Do you need strength today? After years of Daily Calls: PiVAT P: Prayer – What do you need most from God today? The top three by far: Wisdom, Strength, Peace. Do you need strength today? Psalm 68:34 Proclaim the power of God, whose majesty is over Israel, whose power is in the skies. You are awesome, O God, in your sanctuary. The God of Israel gives power and strength to His people. (The God of Israel gives power and strength to His people! That’s what He does!) It didn’t say he gives power and strength to just anybody… (although if you’re breathing… it’s God) It says He gives power and strength to His people. Who are His people? Israel - <Yis-raw-ale> “where He rules as God.” What better name for God’s people could there be? His people – people who submit to His rule, who love Him and His Son. Who obey! Who seek and do His will for them. He gives power and strength to these people. Power – the force, capacity and ability to do any thing. Might. To make powerful – possessing great force to produce great effect… force sufficient to prevail. Strength – having active physical power to exert great bodily force, well fortified, able to withstand attack, resist overthrow, able to endure. Having great force of mind, intellect, or any faculty, securely established. Power and Strength flow from His Sanctuary – His presence – were He dwells. Proclaim His power – is on of the first steps to receiving it. The verse reveals praise as a precursor. And His power is obvious – just look up at the skies. So do you need strength today? Know that He gives it! He has it for you and wants you to have it! Be His people (Let Him rule as God – ask and fully obey – everything He has for you today.) Get in His presence! Power and Strength are there! It’s where they get transferred to you. Proclaim His Power. Power and Strength you comes from what He has. Ask. Ask for God to give you strength. (Whoever asks – receives, and He who seeks – finds…) Rejoice. (Take Joy Again) The joy of the LORD – IS your strength! Praise and Thanksgiving will stir up joy, be thankful even knowing He will give it to you. Thank Him for it now! Get busy obeying. Know what He’s telling you to do and do it. Joy always results from obedience, and the joy of the LORD is your strength. As you enter His presence, proclaim, ask, and obey – His strength will come. He gives power and strength to His people. Praying for you, That you will choose His presence, proclaim His power, fully obey, and choose to rejoice. He loves you. He has good for you. He goes with you, and He goes before you! Love you all, dad Love you all, praying for you!
Please pray for those you know who are learning to PiVAT before dinner, PRISM throughout the day, and Daily Call before work. The devil wants to stop PiVAT before dinner! He knows what God does for obeyers! He wants to isolate and discourage them and limit their life to the way that seems right to man. God wants to speak to them every day! To lead them! To instruct them in HIS ways – specifically in the way they should go. The way He has chosen for them! God wants them to walk with someone every day in His will for them, and His Word for them, and His way for them… overcoming by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony! Please pray, that God will establish habits for a lifetime. And a PiVAT Small Group structure every week that people can learn with others – the joy of surrender. And the testimony of obedience. God reminded me this morning. He has specific things for you today! He already woke you up this morning, gave you life and breath, food to eat, a job to go to, a beautiful day. But He has specific things He wants to GIVE YOU… if you are in position to receive them. He sends rain on the just and the unjust, but he reveals His Ways and the way chosen for you – to those who seek and obey. Proverbs 2:6 For the LORD gives wisdom and from His mouth come knowledge and understanding. He holds victory in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless, for he guards the course of the just, and protects the way of his faithful ones. So what does God want for you today? He wants to give you wisdom, knowledge and understanding! He wants to give you victory! Be your shield, guard your course and protect your way. So what positions you for God to do this? The Upright: Seek and Decide. They seek His presence, His Word, and His Way. They place high value on it. And they decide – they commit with their mouth to obey. The Blameless: Obey! They heard what He told them to do today, and they do it with all their heart with joy at the time He told them to do it! That’s why they’re blameless. The Just: Do Justly. They treat others with the kindness and love of God; never harming, always blessing. The Faithful – Obey Over Time. They persist in it. Obedience becomes a joy and a lifelong habit and they do it with somebody! This positions you – for what God wants to give you today. I’m so praying for you! That you will seek Him and place high value on what He says – that you will always commit yourself out loud to obey – so you will be Upright – so He gives you wisdom, knowledge and understanding today. Praying that you will live in His PiVAT for you today – so you fully obey – so you are Blameless – So He shields you today. Praying that you will treat others as Jesus treated you, with love and kindness – so you are Just – so He guards your course. Praying that you will keep obeying for life – walking with someone daily Hebrews 3:13 – so you overcome together! So your ways are His ways – so you stay Faithful – so He protects your way. God has so much to give you today. Praying that you walk in all of it. God, would you make them Upright, Blameless, Just and Faithful. Give them wisdom, knowledge and understanding. Give them victory today, be their shield, guard their course and protect them as they learn to walk in your way, I pray, in Jesus’ Name. Love you all, dad |
