Love you all, praying for you,
I just love God’s Word – not only the written Word in the pages of Scripture, but the Word that He tells you in your spirit. This morning God put on my heart to declare. What things does God want you to declare this morning? God put in my heart this morning, these two powerful words – I will. David was the best at declaring who God is, what He promised, and what he himself will do in response. As those two Words were in my spirit from the LORD, I opened my Bible for my PRISM time – and started with P: Praise the Word – the very next verse I came to after yesterday was this. Psalms 146:1-2 Praise the LORD. Praise the LORD, O my soul. I will praise the LORD all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live. If I had a dollar for every time God told me something, either through my PiVAT before dinner, or in the night season, and the very next morning my PRISM time in His Word – He confirmed the exact same thing… I’d be a millionaire. But in truth – just to know God spoke to you – and He will confirm it through PRISM – is worth so much more than a million dollars, I’d never trade it. To think God loves you enough to actually speak to you – that’s crazy! So Here’s what God told me to write down for today. I will bless the LORD at all times, I will work diligently each hour at the thing He has assigned me, I will Praise with every breath, I will set before my eyes no unclean thing, I will listen first and seek to understand before being understood, I will choose a cheerful look, I will pray without ceasing, I will give thanks in every situation. David was much better at it than me, but I’m learning. Here are just a few of David’s declarations… I will lie down and sleep in peace for you alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety. I will not fear the tens of thousands drawn up against me on every side, In the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation, I will praise you O LORD with all my heart, I will tell of all your wonders. I will sing to the LORD, for he has been good to me, I will praise the LORD who counsels me; even at night your teachings fill my mind (Ps 16:7), I have set the LORD always before me, because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. I have resolved that my mouth will not sin, I call on you O God, for you will answer me! The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. I call to the LORD, who is worthy of praise, and I am saved from my enemies. What might God have you declare today? Of His character and His promise, and what you will do - that He has called you to do? Praying that you will declare His Word, that you will commit yourself with your mouth, like David did. That your mouth will fill your heart, and establish your steps, that it will propel you in the good that He has stored up for you today. Love you all, dad
