Love you all, praying for you.
What if you had an extra day this year? The last day of the year is always a unique opportunity. Most people don’t recognize it. What does God want you to do the last day of the year. First, there are only two things you should do every day. What God wants you to do every day, and what God wants you to do today. Praying that you already know His PiVAT for you for today. Those things He has ordained for you to do today, to walk in today. But the last day of the year, December 31st is a unique opportunity. It’s a day to remember every thing God did this year, how gracious and faithful He has been. It’s a time of remembrance. It’s a day to finish. What did God tell you to do this year? Did you do it? Praying that if there is one more thing left to do, and it can be finished today, that at whatever time God has assigned you, you will do it! It’s a day to plan for next year. But in God’s Kingdom, it’s not your plans that matter, only His. Praying that you will Print out Insert #3 for this coming year. Hearwelldone.org first page, scroll down to Advanced Tools, (Insert #3) Praying That you would seek God for PiVAT Yearly – He will reveal what He has for you this year, if you will just ask Him. He will reveal as much to you as He chooses right now, but it will be enough for you to hit the ground running, with the joy of obedience. Praying that you will seek Him in the same way for PiVAT Monthly for January – It has a portion of God’s plans for you this year, that He has assigned to January… Praying that you will Print Insert #2 – for the month of January, that you seek Him for PiVAT weekly, for the first week of January, He will tell you. He won’t fill in every blank, you’ll need to walk in the Spirit each day, to fill out that… But He will reveal what your focus this week should be. Praying that this last day of the year you will do PiVAT before dinner so that when your feet hit the floor in the morning, your knees will hit the floor, and you will know exactly his first assignment for you on January 1st. New Years Day – is a Holiday, but that just means that you probably won’t go to work as usual, and you’ll probably watch some bowl games, but it’s still God’s day – and for the first day of the year to be a smashing success, it will only happen if you know and do His will, instead of yours. That’s a lot! It depends on how successful and effective you want to be? No plan, is still your plan, His plan is the best plan – by far. He can restore what the locusts have eaten, but I’m praying that this year, the locusts won’t get anything of yours, not your time, not your mind, not your heart, your hope, or your faith, not your prayer, not your PRISM time, not your relationships, your work, your family or your ministry. That everything God wants to grow in you and increase in you and bless you in - which is EVERYTHING, that you would know in this day and hour what He has chosen for you to do. That’s where the joy comes from. And one more opportunity of this last day of the year. If you have sought the LORD for His plans for you – you already know what is coming tomorrow, you already know the order of those things He wants you to do every day… What if you used today to live in the order that God revealed for you this year. Those things He wants you to do every day, at the time He has told you. Praying that your time today in Worship, in PRISM – that time in His Word where wisdom comes from, and identity comes from, and hope and faith come from… and that time in prayer – where His righteousness that He has given to you – will avail much… Praying that you will know His plans for you this coming year, month, week and day, that you will spend time with him, and that this New Year’s rhythm, you will already put into practice today. So you get an extra day to walk in the victory that God has for you this coming year. Have you ever been so excited for Christmas morning, to see the presents you have prepared for your kids. They’re gonna love it! That’s what God is feeling right now. His PiVATs for you this year – are the presents He can’t wait for you to open! You’re gonna love them! because He’s the best Dad ever… Love you all, dad
